The Inspiration: Bespoke “Island-woven” Grasscloth

The Aesthetic: Kahuna by Patty Madden evokes the artistry of island-woven grasscloth, where slender, coarse horizontal fibres are handworked into an intricate rhythm. A vertical stitched embossing draws the eye upward, lending the textured weave a graceful
architectural presence. Its layered strands suggest sunlit reeds, climbing vines and the abundant foliage of a tropical landscape. Subtle tonal shifts and tactile dimension bring an artisan warmth to interiors, while durable Type II vinyl makes this expressive surface suited to a wide range of commercial spaces
