The Inspiration: Nature’s Grain, Geometry’s Play

The Aesthetic: Cordova by Patty Madden brings two visual mediums into conversation: the biophilic warmth of woodgrain and the spirited precision of a playful geometric. This arrangement of circles moves across a vertically grained ground, introducing a buoyant rhythm to its organic texture. The grain remains visible through the motifs, weaving the two languages together lending fresh energy to the wood-like surface. Embossing and tonal contrasts create depth and a grounded warmth with graphic.
